Tourneys draw thousands to event center
Two volleyball tournaments and one basketball tip-off event are scheduled to bring in multiple state and regional teams this month to the Rocky Mount Event Center. The Rumble in Rocky Mount, a volleyball tournament featuring 120 teams, will feature 11- to 18-year-old girls and will be returning for a third year after completely selling out in 2021, according to the Showtime Events website.
