City employees recognized for service
The City of Rocky Mount recently recognized 170 municipal employees for the years they have devoted to keeping the city’s operations running smoothly.
The city honored 42 employees who have served on the staff for 10 years, 52 who have served 15 years, 34 who have served for 20 years, 39 who have served for 25 years and three people have served for 30 years during a breakfast held in the Edgecombe Room at the Rocky Mount Event Center.
Mayor Sandy Roberson welcomed the employees to the breakfast and shook hands with those who were honored.
