• Schedule A – taxes under $100 approved for release and/or refund by the City Manager; and
• Schedule B – taxes over $100 recommended for release and/or refund by the City Council
B. Consideration of the Following FY 2021-2022 Ordinances:
• Project Ordinances:
1) Tar River Transit ($2,799,068 – requires matching appropriations of $5,395):
a. Transit System Planning Project - $53,950;
b. Rural Transit Operating Project - $2,438,618;
c. Rural Transit Capital Project - $66,500;
d. Rural Transit System Feeder Project - $240,000;
2) Community Development:
a. Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Entitlement Grant Project ($514,419); and b. HOME Investment Partnership Grant Project ($457,772 - requires matching appropriation of
$50,000);
3) CDBG, HOME and NSP Grant Program Income ($30,548);
4) American Recovery Plan Act ($11,521,180); and
5) Battle Park Renovation ($1,252,380)
• Project Ordinance Amendment:
6) 2020 Bulletproof Vest Grant - appropriates additional grant funds received from the U.S.
Department of Justice ($1,320 – requires 50% local match of $660)
C. Consideration of Application for One (1) Taxi Right License for Gerald Burney
