Item 12: Notification to Council of Intent and Authorization to Apply for a grant from the North Carolina Department of Commerce Rural Transformation Grant Program for Downtown Revitalization (Total cost of proposed project is $1,260,000 grant amount from NC Department of Commerce is $940,000 the remaining balance of $320,000 will be a match funded by the City)

Recommended Action: Authorize Staff to Submit Grant Application; and Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk, to Execute Any Required Documentation, Certifications and
Subsequent Grant Agreement on Behalf of the City
