Rocky Mount nursing home opens a 23-bed COVID-19 unit for discharged hospital patients

Carrolton is a health facility in Nash that had been treating nursing home residents. Last March they opened a 23-bed COVID-19 unit to treat the nursing home residents who contracted the virus.

With the collaboration with NASH UNC, their hosting capacity increased to 90. According to Carrolton, the test for COVID is done twice a week to prevent any breaks along with the following of every safety precaution. As they already contain the COVID unit, it is also not necessary for a patient to quarantine for 21 days for them to get the health care.
