Cummins to invest $42 million in a local engine plant in Rocky Mount
According to Rocky Mount Telegram, Cummins Inc. announced another major operation involving more than $40 million. This will be invested in Rocky Mount engine plant.
As the engine plant already employs more than 1800 people, this upgrade or investment will prove extremely beneficial to the people of Rocky Mount. This will indeed increase the employed number of people. Also, according to the news, per the agreement, the company will further invest $41 million in capital expenditures.
Nash County is fully supporting to finalize the deal.
