CONSIDERATION OF THE FOLLOWING BIDS

Item 15: Consideration of the Following Bids:
a. Engineering Services for Falls Road Streetscape Design - award to Kimley-Horn: 1) Task Order 1 - Rehabilitation of Loading Dock Structure - $99,364; and
2) Task Order 2 - Conceptual Design of Falls Road Streetscape/Depot Park - $224,644;
b. Tubular Steel Poles (40) – award to Rohn Products @ total cost of $315,500; and
c. One (1) Centermount Backhoe - award to JCB, Inc. @ total cost of $102,097.80 (based on bid
awarded by Sourcewell Group Purchasing Program [Contract #040319-JCB])

Recommended Action: 1) Award Bids as Recommended;
2) Authorize the Purchasing Division to Issue Purchase Orders in Accordance
with the Council’s Award for items (a) and (b); and
3) Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to Execute Bid Contract for item (c) on
Behalf of the City
