CONSIDERATION OF THE FOLLOWING BIDS

Item 17: Consideration of the following Bids:
a) Office Furniture for 2nd Floor Community and Business Development Office and Human Relations Project – award to Institutional Interiors (proposal #22-1566) @ total cost of $134,311.76; and
b) Mobile Computing Devices - award to Law and Order Technology, LLC @ total cost of $236,201.07
(based on bid awarded through the North Carolina Division of Purchase and Contract Group Purchasing Program [Contract # 204B – Ruggedized Mobile Computing Devices, Accessories, and Peripherals, with Respective Support and Maintenance])

Recommended Action: 1) Award Bids as Recommended;
2) Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to Execute Bid Contract for (a) on
Behalf of the City; and
3) Authorize the Purchasing Division to Issue Purchase Order and Execute Bid
Document for (b) in Accordance with the Council’s Award
