Item 8: CONSENT AGENDA: A. Consideration of Tax Releases and/or Refunds: • Schedule A – taxes under $100 approved for release and/or refund by the City Manager B. Consideration of Recommendation of Approval of Award of Badge to Senior Patrol Officer John C. Consideration of the Following FY 2020-2021 Ordinance Amendments: • Budget Ordinance Amendment: 1) Appropriates Funds in the Self-Insurance Internal Service Fund ($1,330,000) for Health Insurance Claims in Current Fiscal Year; and • Project Ordinance Amendments: 2) Appropriates Funds to be Received from the City from the North Carolina Department of Commerce’s Building Reuse Grant Program ($1,180,000): a) Project Babbington - $200,000 b) Project LS Tractor - $190,000 c) Project X-Ray - $500,000 d) Project Blvd - $200,000 e) Project Jay Group - $90,000 D. Consideration of Request for Authorization to Apply for Grants: • 2021 Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) – ($19,250; requires 50% match; funding to used replace 44 bulletproof vests); and • North Carolina Science Museum Grant - $37,550 (for FY 2022 and FY 2023)"

Recommended Action: Approve Consent Agenda inclusive of the following: 1) Acknowledge Receipt of Report from the City Manager of Schedule A Taxes Approved for Release and/or Refund; 2) Approve Award of Badge; 3) Adopt Ordinances; 4) Authorize Staff to Submit Grant Applications; and Authorize the Mayor, City Clerk, City Attorney or other Appropriate Individuals to Execute Any Required Documentation, Certifications and Subsequent Grant Agreements on Behalf of the City
