CONSIDERATION OF THE FOLLOWING BIDS

Item 22: Consideration of the following Bids:
a) One (1) Heil DuraPack HalfPack Refuse Body mounted on a 2022 Crane Carrier Cab Chassis – award to Carolina Environmental Systems @ total cost of $346,986 (based on bid awarded by Sourcewell Group Purchasing Program [Contract # 091219-THC-Mobile Refuse Collection Vehicles with Related Equipment, Accessories and Services); and
b) Five (5) 2023 Ford PI Utility AWD Vehicles - award to Performance Ford @ a total cost of $197,574.40 (purchases proposed to be made in accordance with Statewide Vehicle Contract and State of North Carolina Term Contract [NCGS 143-129(e) (9)] – Statewide Contract #070A-Fleet Vehicles)

Recommended Action: 1) Award Bids as Recommended; and
2) Authorize the Purchasing Division to Issue Purchase Orders and Execute Bid
